An excellent read from Rosamund Urwin. I have always been speechless when people demand I tell them why I don’t wear a helmet. I just don’t really feel like I need to for a cycle of a couple of miles.

But consider this: in 2014, 64 people were killed while walking along the capital’s streets (that compares with 13 cyclists). Yet no one says helmets should be mandatory for pedestrians, or that anyone should need a licence to go for a stroll. Safer roads are for everyone.”
