About

I am an award-winning writer in Stirling. My qualifications include a BA (hons) in English Studies and Scottish Literature from Stirling University, an MLitt in Creative Writing from Glasgow University, and a second MLitt, in the Literature of the Highlands and Islands, with UHI.

As the journalist for a local newspaper I covered location-specific news on the Isle of Lewis; as a journalist for Bahrain’s national English-language newspaper, I covered a wide variety of topics and interests relevant to the Middle Eastern country. I have written travel articles for South African and Scottish magazines, and pieces on weddings for Scottish Wedding Directory. During my time at Glasgow University I also served as the Editor-in-Chief for From Glasgow to Saturn, the Creative Writing department’s renowned literary journal.
