Coming into 2022 the same way most parents of young children are: panicking about Covid.
Usually, I plan to start each new year with some goals in mind, some resolutions. I don’t know about you, but the only thing I’m focusing on this year is getting through it with the least amount of pain possible.
I’m thankful to already have had some pieces commissioned for some of my favourite magazines, so keep an eye out for more beer and wine-themed essays on culture. I’m also glad to be expanding my Zumbini offerings across Stirling and Falkirk. I love my sessions with these little kids and their lovely parents, and I’m so psyched to have added the Zumbini arrow to my metaphorical quiver.
Also for this year, something that’s less common, is that I have availability to take on one new long-term copywriting client. My last contract made me responsible for producing 120,000 words between February and November in 2021, mostly for blogs about services as diverse as patios, driveways, private investigators, lawyers and roof cleaners. When it came to an end both myself and my client were sad to part ways. The feedback made me blush:
“Jemma is an amazing copywriter and a dream to work with. She turns around even the most intricate copy briefs in record time and is a valuable, dependable asset to our team. I would 100% recommend Jemma if you’re looking for a stellar copywriter for your project.”
I hope your 2022 has started off smoothly, and I hope you, like me, are happy to just go with the flow. If you need someone to take a little of that copywriting off your plate, give me a shout. I might just be able to help.
